There's been many changes with new Department of Justice rulings but bottom line it's the buyer who brings the money to the table and everything has always been negotiable.  To be totally honest, which if you know me, I always am: I'm not looking for working with new buyers.  I'm happy to match you with a co-team member and to make sure you are treated well and process is exact and best price received.

​Also, make sure you have an agent representing YOU ALONE and your best interests.  Construction agent is working for the Builder... not you! ;-)

Lastly, please be careful of fraud!! Here is a fabulous PowerPoint by one of my favorite and kindest closing attorney Jonathan McCollum. Whatever you do, be super careful of wiring any money and sharing your social security number .  I will never ask for your credit card info nor bank info or any PII! Please look at that Powerpoint and if something doesn't seem right, CALL me and/or attorney. Definitely call the attorney AGAIN before sending money please!!!!
