There's been many changes with new Department of Justice rulings but bottom line it's the buyer who brings the money to the table and everything has always been negotiable. To be totally honest, which if you know me, I always am: I'm not looking for working with new buyers. I'm happy to match you with a co-team member and to make sure you are treated well and process is exact and best price received.
Also, make sure you have an agent representing YOU ALONE and your best interests. Construction agent is working for the Builder... not you! ;-)
